Every woman on this earth is beautiful in her own way. I found this to be so very true.
Everyone of us is so different to the others in every way or more precisely put: unique.
Mind and body:
Indeed, each of us is the one and only on this planet, how awesome is that? Yet, many of us, women, me included, somehow caught ourselves thinking the exact followings, that we are not enough: not beautiful enough, not young enough, not thin enough, not tall enough, not tan enough, not strong enough, not powerful enough and the list goes on.
Instead of being confident, being proud of who we are, we often are consumed by all sorts of negative thoughts. Shaped and influenced by our societies, cultures, belief-systems, history of this world, past experiences and nowadays social media (some would say also pay gap), they became so common, almost default. We constantly compare ourselves to every body else. Our brains run that program almost automatically, instantly and non stop.
Why does the psychology’s aspect come in here?
A lot of time, a woman somewhere will feel a certain way that she is one of the above and that she is the only one who feels that way or even worse, the issue is her. Fact is that all of us will feel anxious at some point in time. It is part of being a human. And you are not alone!
We, women are particularly conscious about how we look and very often let our own beliefs tell us what to feel about ourselves. We are very conscious about our bodies. But we often don’t pay enough attention on our minds and how they work. Just so that we truly appreciate our own identity and embrace the simple truth that every woman is beautiful in her own way, we need to look into that root cause. Because it is our mind which is in the command seat, only our mind can tell us to be nice and kind to our body and do it every day.
Fashion and style:
And what they mean is freedom. Enjoy it! If you search for rules. My thought is there is none. Not in fashion world, I don’t think so. Anything goes under fashion lens. If you dare to be free!
Fashion and style are art forms and it is a place where creativity blossoms. With just a bit of understanding about your body shapes, you will be truly the boss.
It is certainly possible to look awesome with the body you have. And once you know you look good, you will then also feel good. And then again when you feel good you will look even better. And that the up-spiral we want to keep staying on.
There are 5 most common body shapes: apple, pear, athletic, rectangle and hourglass.

1. Apple shape: broader torso and shoulders, fuller bust and waist, thinner arms, legs and hips.

Great with: A-line, flowy, asymmetric garments, relaxed shirt dresses or tunics. Don’t forget: a belt
2. Pear shape: wider, curvy hips and thick thigh, slender upper body, relatively small waist.

Great with: statement, busy decorated top, bustier tops, accessories are brilliant choice to draw attention to the upper body, keep the bottom simple and in a darker shades.
3. Athletic shape: broader shoulders and narrower hips.

Great with: bottoms with more volume, avoid tops with padded shoulders, show your athletic feature of your upper body with halter necks, strapless and racerback tops.
4. Rectangle shape: waist measurement is not too different from bust and hip.

Great with: garments with added volume to tops and bottoms like: shoulder-padding tops or wide-leg pants, flared skirts. Add a belt.
5. Hourglass shape: small waistlines, quite similar bust and hip measurements.

Great with: high waisted pants or pencil skirts. Embrace your waistline by choosing dresses that cling to your figure tightly.
Conclusion:
Just like contour in make-up can makeover, there are multiple ways to play with proportion, shapes and colours to contour our body’s shapes in case you feel like. A very little attention on small details and knowing where to twist can make quite a difference.
Remember, you and your mind are the biggest assets here. You don’t need to be perfect to be beautiful!
