Under the cold, clear, blue Danish sky…
On one Spring day 2009, Denmark became my home.
After nearly 2 years of residence, at the end of 2011, from a complete stranger to Denmark, I found myself getting familiar with not only the icy wind of the snowy winter, the absolute beautiful spring, summer, colourful autumn of this northern European country and quite a bit of noise made by those seagulls but also the honesty and creative, innovative, efficient working style of the Danish people.
Nordic culture, the famous Scandinavian design concept: its industrial design, product design, interior design and architecture, all and all got me mesmerisingly captivated.
I have come to love and admire their thought-through and well-designed product, their simplicity, their smart incorporated functionality and the beauty of it, uncompromisingly from idea to finish.
On 4th January 2012, a gust of wind cushioning my steps up the stairs of Odense Fagskole, the City’s design concept school of Odense on the beautiful island Fyn, where I enrolled to be fashion design student.
My journey into art and design started.
Why fashion: Like a child I simply played and put my puzzles together based on what I love and love doing which is creating: looks made of different materials, textures, details, shapes and colours, the eyes or the sense for beauty combine with hair do, make-up, accessories and music(the music part is what I love and I would prefer to leave the do part to all those talented musicians). You are probably thinking about the catwalk, a fashion show…it is a beautiful side effect and it is exciting but that is not the best part. The best part is that fashion allows me to be able to work for and to serve people especially women, the most beautiful creatures on this planet (sorry, guys!). There is no place else where I want to be.
July 2012, we left Denmark and went on to reside in Germany, Hong Kong, now in Singapore where my journey continues.
